Both the CSIA and NFPA advise homeowners to have these systems inspected once a year and these services performed as needed to avoid fires and carbon monoxide poisoning.

Aelite performs a video inspection of your chimney, flues, vents and fireplace. We can repair any leaks or cracks and remove any blockages as needed. The same pre-emptive service is needed for your clothes dryer. Poorly functioning dryer vents can also release hazardous gases into your home and create a fire hazard and an array of health problems. In addition to protecting you from these hazards, clear vents also improve the performance and longevity of your dryer.

Just wanted to say thank you! Our chimney cap looks great, we are to code and while we can still hear the rain, the peace of mind in knowing it won’t leak down into the chimney is terrific. We are also glad we took Nick up on his service to clean out the dryer hose…omg, we could have made a bunch of pillows from what came out! You were right, we’re back to a 45 minute dry cycle, instead of an hour 45, 2 hour dry cycle…yay for getting some time, and some energy savings back! That def makes laundry a little less of a chore!
